2 Samuel 22:30-31 – For by You I can run against a troop; by my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven.
1 Corinthians 9:26-27 – So I do not run aimlessly . . . But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.
Romans 8:17-18 – Now if we are children, we are heirs . . . if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Colossians 3:12 – So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Psalm 28:7-8 – The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise Him. The Lord is the strength of His people, fortress of salvation for His anointed one.
John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let your heart not be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
