Deuteronomy 6:6-7 – “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”
2 Timothy 2:15 – “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
Ephesians 4:31-32 – Let all bitterness and wrath and anger . . . be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 – Aspire to live quietly, to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands . . . so that you may behave properly toward outsiders and be dependent on no one.
